Mossel Bay Backpackers is a friendly hostel with all the necessary facilities available. Television, self-catering kitchen, bunker beds, each with a locker, private double rooms, sleeping 2, 4, 6 or 9 persons. Only 300m to surf spots. Located at The Point which has the most consistent waves along the South African coastline.

Activities include shark cage diving, deep sea fishing trips, Garden Route big five, horse riding and diving arranged. Nice and safe environment for day & night walks along the beach, or mountain trail. Great for whale watching between July and November. Superb Pub-crawling watering holes (no driving needed!) - at least 5 within 500m! Khoi-San (Bushman) cave - 300m from the backpackers.

Bartolomeu Dias Museum Complex displaying the Old Post Office Tree, Caravelle (old ship), and Shell Museum, is a must for any visitor to South Africa.  Mossel Bay has the oldest European History along the Southern African Sub-continent.
